How it works
ROUNDS
& INDUSTRIES
The competition will comprise of 8 rounds, each round will focus on a different industry. You must conceptualise a product that could solve a current challenge in a specified industry.
STARTING
CONTESTANTS
You will be divided into teams. You will need to collaborate and work together to design a saleable, profitable product.
JUDGES
PER ROUND
You will present your product to a panel of expert judges and receive feedback. 1 to 2 contestants will be eliminated in each round, by your team members or the judging panel.
WINNER

The winning team takes home their share of a R100 000 per round – the further you go in the competition, and as others are eliminated, the bigger your portion of the R100 000 is.
Have you got what it takes?
The competition pits teams of entrepreneurs against one another to solve an industry problem by coming with a novel, practical and profitable product. Two or three teams race against the clock, with the support of a graphic designer and an industry expert, to conceptualise a winning product that is presented to the judges.
Each episode requires one team member (or more) to be eliminated by either their own team or the other team. In each round, there’s R100 000 up for grabs and the participating contestants enjoy the spoils of R100 000 divided by the remaining number of contestants. So, in each round, contestants win cash in ever-increasing amounts until the final round where only one of the two finalists walks away with the full R100 000 episode prize.
